Elana S. Schulman has ten years of experience as a consulting and testifying expert for civil litigation, including business and employment disputes, marital dissolution, personal injury, legal malpractice, and consumer class actions. Ms. Schulman has served as an expert in over fifty matters and testified at depositions and trial in state and federal courts. She also serves as the firm’s Controller.

Ms. Schulman has over twenty years of professional experience in external and internal audit, forensic accounting, fraud investigations, financial reporting, and business process re-engineering. She has held financial leadership roles in the private sector, state government, and higher education. Her expert witness work includes preliminary analyses of alleged financial damages, uncovering underreported income and hidden assets, fraud investigations, reconstructing financial statements and transactions, evaluating opposing experts’ conclusions, drafting expert witness reports, and preparing trial exhibits.
