Scott Cobb Accepted as a New Member of the Washington D.C. Estate Planning Council

Vallit Advisors is excited to announce that Director, Scott Cobb has been accepted as a member of the Washington DC Estate Planning Council (WDCEPC). Scott brings over 20 years of financial advisory expertise to the WDCEPC and is one of eleven inductees. The additional members include estate planning professionals from various disciplines such as financial planning, trusts, and estate management. New members and their nominators will be introduced during the WDCEPC Annual Meeting on June 2, 2022. 

The WDCEPC’s primary objective is to establish and support collaborative efforts in the estate planning profession and community. The Council helps its members render the highest possible service to their clients, providing a forum for discussion on estate planning topics and promoting cooperation among the participating disciplines. Members of the Council include lawyers, certified public accountants, life insurance professionals, trust officers, financial planners, valuation specialists and charitable giving professionals.

As a member, Scott will be invited to attend all educational meetings hosted by the WDCEPC throughout the year. In addition, he will attend the WDCEPC’s annual meeting, where he will have the opportunity to exchange information and develop a mutual understanding with other estate planning professionals across respective disciplines. These enriching networking and industry-advancing events will allow Scott to collaborate with well-respected peers and mentors, furthering the service that Vallit Advisors can provide to their clients.
