Managing Member Mark Norris recently sat down with one of Vallit’s newest Directors, Rob Carter, to discuss his decision to join the Vallit team, the culture at Vallit, and the opportunities that he is most excited about. Read on for a summary of the conversation or watch the full video below.
Why Choose Vallit Advisors?
Prior to joining Vallit, Rob was a partner at his prior two firms where he was focused on running the forensic accounting practice. In an effort to always continue growing where possible, expanding into a Director role at Vallit felt like a natural next step. Rob values that Vallit understands how unique the work is and is able to support him in what he does.
In addition to that, Rob was eager to begin working with other experts and like-minded individuals. In previous roles he largely worked by himself and at Vallit, he has the opportunity to work collaboratively on a majority of the projects he is involved in.
A Culture of Working Together and Moving Forward
Rob officially joined the team in October of 2022 and noted that his favorite part of working with the team at Vallit is definitely the culture. He feels like he is surrounded by a great group of people who work hard and share the same goal.
Opportunities Looking Forward
Looking forward, Rob is most excited at the prospect of continuing to grow his practice and better serve his clients. At Vallit, he feels supported in this mission and feels as though he is more able to do work the way he feels it should be done.
