Managing Member R. Christopher Rosenthal Re-Appointed to the SEED School of Maryland Board of Trustees
The Managing Members of Vallit Advisors would like to extend their congratulations to R. Christopher Rosenthal on his re-appointment to the SEED School of Maryland Board of Trustees. Chris was re-appointed by Governor Hogan for his second three-year term. His re-appointment also required a vote by The Senate of Maryland-Executive Nominations Committee.
The SEED School of Maryland is a statewide, college-preparatory, residential boarding school for economically disadvantaged children. The school ranges from 6-12th grade and 99% of students move on to higher education. Chris was the first in his family to obtain a four-year college degree, and he recounts that education has opened up tremendous doors and opportunities: “I have committed a lot of my ‘give back’ efforts towards education,” Chris says, “and my commitment to the SEED school is an example of that effort.”
Currently, Chris is the co-chair of the Finance committee for the SEED School of Maryland and a member of the legislative committee. He has been involved in several other educational initiatives over the years and is thrilled to be a part of such a meaningful organization.
